Department of Electronics and Informatics Engineering Education (JPTEI), and Electronics and Informatics Student Association (HIMANIKA) FT UNY held a Department Gathering on Friday, 16 October 2020 at 14.00 - 17.00 WIB. This activity is a yearly program of the HIMANIKA FT UNY Organization Network Department to bring together students and department administrators to have a dialogue about suggestions and input for the department. The event was attended by the Head of the Department of Electronics and Informatics Engineering Education, Handaru Jati, ST., M.M., M.T., Ph.D., Department administrators, and lecturers of the Department of Electronics Engineering and Informatics as well as students from various generations.

The event began with remarks by Silvia Mega Kartika as the Coordinator of the Department Gathering, and Ardian Ibnu Setiadi as the Chairperson of HIMANIKA FT UNY, and continue with the remark as well as the opening of the meeting by Mr. Handaru Jati, ST., M.M., M.T., Ph.D. as head of the department. Then, the event continued with a panel discussion with the Head of the Department and the Chair of the Study Program moderated by Lufia Aviyanti from Information Technology 2019.

After the panel discussion, the event continued with the delivery of aspirations by students for the Department of Electronics and Informatics Engineering, such as learning constraints during the pandemic, lecturer performance, and Department facilities. Many students convey their aspirations to the department, and the department meeting ended with a group photo session. The hope is that the Management and Students of the Electronics Engineering and Informatics Education Department can work together for the advancement of the department. (alif)
