Three students from the Information Technology Study Program made achievements at the international level again. The Wisanggeni team from INFINITE UNY, consisting of Silvia Larasatul Masyitoh, Maria Bernadetha Charlotta Wonda Tiala, and Firsty Dian Pratiwi from class 2020 won 1st place in the CHATBOT UNI Global Challenge - SAVE TOURISM competition organized by ai4impact.

Maria explained, CHATBOT UNI Global Challenge - SAVE TOURISM is a competition to create a chatbot application to encourage increased tourism in the current new normal. This competition is organized by ai4impact, an organization that aims to make Artificial Intelligence accessible and utilized by everyone.

In the competition, the Wisanggeni team created a chatbot application entitled "WisaTravel" which was able to introduce and promote various tourist destinations on the island of Java. The WisaTravel application was able to beat more than 30 other applications and won 1st place in the final round. In the final round, the Wisanggeni team had the opportunity to meet virtually with the Menparekraf, Mr. Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, although only virtually through the Zoom platform.
