The Faculty of Engineering at the State University of Yogyakarta (UNY) conducted an internship program and mini-seminar in collaboration with the international company Alibaba Cloud Indonesia. The event took place at the Auditorium on the 3rd floor of the KPLT Building, Faculty of Engineering, UNY, on Thursday (12/21). UNY signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to enhance expertise in cloud server management through the Alibaba Cloud Academy Empowerment Program A Digital Cloud Technology & Alibaba Cloud Technology Introduction, as well as the Alibaba Cloud Career Program and Internship Overview.

The MoA signing ceremony was attended by officials from the Faculty of Engineering at UNY, including the Vice Dean for Research, Cooperation, and Information Systems & Business, Dr. Drs. Totok Heru Tri Maryadi, MPd, and representatives from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Informatics Education. Management representatives from Alibaba Cloud were also present, including Director of Solution Architect Eggy Tanujawijaya, Training Ops Specialist Bayu Irawan, and Marketing Manager Ghendis Kayira.

In his address, Dr. Totok Heru expressed UNY's commitment, particularly within FT UNY, to continuously enhance the competence of both faculty members and students in information technology, specifically Alibaba Cloud Servers. During the seminar session, Eggy presented Alibaba Group's milestones, introduced cloud management services SAAS and PAAS, and emphasized that universities in Indonesia are a focal point for Alibaba Cloud through the Alibaba Cloud Academy program, providing services in the education sector and technological development.

Further discussions covered topics such as Alibaba Cloud Academy, Digital Transformation, Technology Landscape, and career opportunities in the field of information technology and Alibaba Cloud Indonesia. During the event, both parties signed the MoA, signifying the commitment of DPTEI FT UNY and Alibaba Cloud Indonesia to cultivate skilled human resources in cloud server management.
