Yogyakarta, April 10, 2024 – Two students from the Department of Electronics and Informatics Engineering Education, Information Technology Study Program, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), Satya Adhiyaksa Ardy and Alim Tegar Wicaksono, have departed for Taiwan on April 10, 2024, coinciding with Eid al-Fitr 2024, to participate in one of the Taiwan Experience Education Programs (TEEP), specifically the “Computational Intelligence in the Next Generation Network” program at the Mobilizing Information Technology Lab (MIT Lab), National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST). This program focuses on the development of intelligent systems for next-generation networks (B5G/6G) and other research related to information technology and artificial intelligence.
Prior to their departure, both students had just completed their graduation requirements. Additionally, during their research at MIT Lab, NTUST, they will receive a monthly stipend ranging from 12,000 to 15,000 New Taiwan Dollars (NTD), which will support their living expenses while in Taiwan. This activity not only gives them the opportunity to apply the technical knowledge they have learned but also to experience a new culture and enhance their ability to collaborate internationally.
The TEEP program provides valuable opportunities for students to be directly involved in innovative research projects and to enhance their skills in a competitive environment. Besides academic activities, students participating in TEEP programs also have the chance to introduce Indonesian culture in Taiwan, adding a rich cultural dimension to their learning experience.
UNY is committed to supporting students in various international opportunities, ensuring they have all the resources needed to succeed
